This is the ultimate paradigm shift in how you perceive yourself and how you take care of your body. I take my clients from self-judgement to self-love by resolving the intellectual, emotional and spiritual aspects of their weight loss.

The truth is… if you have a long-standing weight issue, I can say with absolute certainty that your life is not where it is destined to be yet. Whether you are overweight, obese, morbidly obese or preoccupied with maintaining a certain weight makes little difference – your weight issue is syphoning precious energy from your bigger life. What is your bigger life? It has nothing to do with the size or scope of your present life compared to anyone else. It has everything to do with the more expressive and expansive experiences you know you would be realizing if you weren’t holding yourself back in any way due to your weight. Your weight issue is keeping you playing small.

The truth is… if your weight loss efforts are riddled with harsh self-talk and relentless judgement, this is the very reason you sabotage yourself. You cannot manifest true weight loss from limiting beliefs and fears. Your sabotage is pointing you to the very self-esteem, self-worth and ultimately, self-love you need to learn to transcend your struggle once and for all. Awakening to this kinder, gentler voice within you is the only thing that will peel back your layers of self-deception, release the shame and guilt, connect you to your natural gifts and talents, and enable you to manifest your bigger life. This is weight loss with dignity.

The truth is… if your weight loss efforts are about trying to control your way to an outcome again and again, this is precisely why you have not been successful. You will never know permanent weight loss until you learn how to be at choice with the wisdom of your body. What does it mean to be at choice? It means letting go of the white-knuckling fight of Ego and embracing a deep sense of trust in the natural flow of Soul. This is humbling inner work to do but this kind of growth leads you to profound quality of life shifts that will move you from struggle to joy. Your Soul will never settle for anything less than choice.

The truth is… if you have compulsive, binge and/or addictive behaviours around food or exercise, these are the symptoms not the problem. These are coping mechanisms – not a moral failing – that formed to help you function because you were never modelled and taught the life skills you needed. Within every adult who behaves this way is a child whose growth was halted. Self-awareness is the key to taking yourself off autopilot, growing yourself up and fully owning your life. This self-efficacy then opens the door to your deeper spiritual needs of service and contribution. Your growth matters, not just to you but to every life you touch.

The truth is… if you are a woman trying to follow a man’s approach to weight loss, this is the stumbling block not you. No offense, gentlemen, but you can’t possibly walk that talk. While men and women have similar struggles with their weight, they go about solving the issue in an entirely different manner. Men typically see a problem and set about “fixing” it. Women typically need to understand the “why” first to give themselves the clarity to act. This is weight loss from the feminine perspective.
